We're are finally scheduled to pickup out 212s on Friday and are pretty excited to finally be getting out boat that we bought in February.
We are getting 3.99% for 180 months and a 3 year YES warranty at no extra cost since that was the incentive when we 1st bought the boat.
The dealer is offering a total of 5 years of Warranty for $2000 more.

Does that seem like a good deal?, or should I just stick with the 3 year warranty?

I'm also currently looking at insurance. Any suggestions? I am getting quotes in the $600 range for coverage in NY. Seems reasonable and includes on the water help.

I went with State Farm and I only paid $230 for the whole year. Value replacement (because my loan had gap) on boat and trailer. Indiana must be a lot cheaper. Liability insurance was only $80. But Yamaha gave me the requirements for their loan. Yamaha gave me 5 yrs and gap insurance

I did extra 2 years. Figured why not, it’s a extra couple bucks a month. I love my boat but I can tell after 2 months there are some areas where corners were cut for cost savings, it’s nice having some reassurance any major issues are going to be covered for awhile.

That's pretty cheap, gieco (boatus) was cheaper ($500) but not that much cheaper. NY your is not cheap, I guess

I am leaning toward adding the extra 2 years. The NY season is pretty short and it would give us piece of mind.
