Garage setups?

If you park your boat in the water, especially if it’s in your back yard, instead of on a trailer or in a garage, I’m jealous.

well its cold and windy here this morning 57 degrees but on the bright side the sun's out and no clouds...
I put the boat in its bunk yesterday as its easier to work on... its on an old boat trailer frame that i trimmed up and bolted to my seawall.... after IRMA made new bunks and put a deck on it and stained to match the screen room...

In water and on shore storage in your back yard, I’m more jealous now. How do you move the boat between the water and bunk?

11,000 LB Davits.... Each crane is rated for 6000 lbs... but derated a little for 316 stainless cable... it spends 98% of the time hanging on davits about 1 ft above high tide... it needed a few mods to the bow cleat and transom bows to do that but its worked for 6 years now so id call it good....

@84rzv500r . , so on paper each davit could support the entire weight of your boat loaded and fueled. Very nice.

yeah prolly closer to 2x my boat full of fuel for each davit.... the weak link is the 5/16 stainless wire rope... the down riggers are 3/8 that I built... I have a nicopress tool....

Got a lot of.progress done lately. I ordered several of the Seville ultra hd wall cabinets and a 72" workbench from them. The workbench is definitely lower end than the offerings from husky, etc nowadays, it doesn't come with soft close slides, adjustable heights, stuff like that, but it's also like 600 bucks, or half the price of the husky and others.

Those soft close slides they put on everything now don’t belong on tool boxes. Great way to jumble the shit out of your small tools every time you open a drawer.
