I am stranded a hour from home. No power to my gauges in a ar192. Help!!

If it was me, I'd try it out and see how it behaves. If it's good..., it's good.

I can't say it's a good idea... Just what i would try vs. The alternative.
 
It definitely runs as normal if bypassed but not sure what other systems it may affect by doing so. Mostly worried about alarm and things along that line. Believe me I have been thinking about it for sure vs the money.

Try landyard and no wake buttons to start. With a handheld thermometer I might even try an overheat alarm. If everything works.... Everything works.
 
The lanyard, neutral safety, and rear hatch all work. I may dig a little deeper on the engine alarms before I decide to buy a new computer.
