New 2015 Models

According to a California emissions form I found months ago, it doesn't seem like there will be any new models...maybe new designs within these models, but as far as new model totally , it wasn't on the form.

I know the announcement is for aug 17. So Say I decide on a 2015 model.

When will they be available for pickup?

Someone posted a video of the new model testing that he tried to take on the lake. The video wasnt very clear, but it looked like they changed the bow to a more pitchfork looking design. The tower looked different too.

There is definitely something that goes down when you cut the throttles, at least IMO, @ 3 seconds when he cuts the throttle there isn't any jet wash at all.

Where is this video?

Well if they don't make it my wife gave me permission to take a go fast cuddy cruiser and put jets on it.
Although with all the "after you"'s it will be 2018

pulling the trigger on a 2014 242LS tomorrow.....wish me luck!~!
Brave soul. . . .if I was 5 days away from launch I would certainly be waiting.

You don't need "luck", there fantastic boats. You can always put 2015 decals on your 2014 to make it a 2015 model. :)

For a jet boat the interior room, comfort, ride, speed, ect is top-notch on the 240's & up. Yamaha has a great hull/design for pleasure & sports, it'll be tough for them to out do themselves and doubt they will in 2015. If you can save a few grand...go for it.

announcement is on the 19th. But I like the boat, seem to be getting a good deal especially compared to invoice pricing. Going tomorrow to see where it all falls! Might come home with a boat!

Don't do it... They significantly changed their steering. I think you're making a mistake.

I would also be inclined to wait. The new models will only drive the pricing of the 2014's further down and there will be some leftover's out there next week. The 2014 242LS is a great boat, but you have nothing to lose by waiting a week and making the comparison. However, I would not hesitate to buy a used one at a CONSIDERABLE discount.
