At least it is deep, and big so it will stay cool in the summers. I think you will be surprised how hot the “Shelf’s” get. You are gonna definitely enjoy it!!!

Trust me... it will be SMOKIN!!. we went down to one of the beaches at the lake tonight to swim until sunset, I was surprised how warm the water already is in Thompson Bay, swimming trips going forward will all be on the North side of the Island now “ It stays cooler since the water feeds in on that side from the Colorado River”.

Trust me... it will be SMOKIN!!. we went down to one of the beaches at the lake tonight to swim until sunset, I was surprised how warm the water already is in Thompson Bay, swimming trips going forward will all be on the North side of the Island now “ It stays cooler since the water feeds in on that side from the Colorado River”.

We definitely need to make a trip that way when the world is open again and check out havasuh

We moved to destin/Niceville, FL 5 years ago. We’re never leaving. If you don’t live right on the water, it’s really affordable. We love it here. Great schools, great weather, beautiful beaches, year round boating.

I think If I could choose GA would be at the top of my list. We are from Ky and have a good 6 month season. 8 would be great but my wife and I do enjoy a brisk Winter day around a fire on occasion
