Sorry for being immature; but I am honestly curious if Yamaha has lightened up at all over the years. Are the 2015s still plastered with warning stickers?
Mikey asks seriously ........ Isn't Tower Of Power from like 40 years ago ?From last night's concert; Tower of Power, Steve Miller band, and Journey.
Yes, and Steve Miller Band is two years older. ToP formed in 1968 and Steve Miller Band formed in 1966. Both bands still put on a powerful show.Mikey asks seriously ........ Isn't Tower Of Power from like 40 years ago ?
< Mikey hangs his head not knowing more since he only listens to Good 'Ole Modern Country now >
The Cozzies are amazingly quick. I thought about one early on in my time over there but I was young so insurance was ridiculous. If I had stayed longer I was about to trade my Z32 for a TVR.
Ahh, TVR's, now your talking. I was the biggest independent dealer in the UK in the late nineties, love the cars, still do, but so sad they've dissapeared into oblivion .
Not too sure you can get them in the U.S. due to non-existent crash testing, no airbags or ABS etc, but they did use a TVR Tuscan in the John Travolta film, Swordfish.
I was in Birmingham, about 130 miles from London, smack bang in the centre of the UK, Land Rover, Jaguar, Aston Martin territory .Where was your dealership? I was in and around Cambridge from 97 to 2001 then moved to London.

I was frequently in Birmingham in the late 90s. Unfortunately I never visited your dealership.
I really enjoyed the cars on offer in the UK.
I had a 528 with Alpina suspension and body kit (B10 looks and handling) and a Peugeot 406 Coupe as company cars. Later I bought a grey market 300ZX.
We had a number of BMWs, a F355, a Lotus Esprit V8, an XK8 and a few Mercs in the company fleet. One of my friends had a Volvo T5 then a Skyline. So I got to drive quite a variety.
We also sponsored a Formula Ford Car but I doubt I would have fit into it.
Thats some fleet @Bruce certainly not the run of the mill, no wonder you enjoyed the cars because the average family runabouts where attrocious. Keeping on OP's track, what I "used" to see (sorry Murf) in my garage.

Here are a few more. By the way the silver Nissan is a full blown drift car with a modified engine, roll cage, etc. the gti was just purchased to show the body kit that they have exclusive rights to import from Japan. The Porche is the same way.
It's good clean fun, They even passed out complemtary pizza and drinks last week but damn I miss boating.
Nice! Just need some grass, green side up of course!View attachment 18298 It's done!
Very nice! Are you still a dealer?Thats some fleet @Bruce certainly not the run of the mill, no wonder you enjoyed the cars because the average family runabouts where attrocious. Keeping on OP's track, what I "used" to see (sorry Murf) in my garage.

@Big Shasta That Old Gregg is some weird $/#@. Where did you come up with that? That's exactly why I wear Kevlar swim trunks. Normal swimwear does not protect my rectum and or mangina. (I'm OLD GREGG)
First of all, that (the track) is awesome. I dare not show it to my son or he will want to make it this weekend's projects.Hey @Ronnie. So I painted this track in the basement for the kids to play on (hilarious on their Scoot n' Zooms); but a neighbor gave me a pair of cheap Nikko drift cars, so I had to start playing.

Now I'm sure I want to upgrade to better cars. Do you (or maybe your son) think I can run a 1/10 on this tight of a track? It is also smooth painted concrete with a bump mid track, so will they slip around too much?

Thanks for any advice!
