My friend was out by Catalina island just before Christmas for lobster opener, only one legal lobster but ran into a “float” of squid, bait for the next six months.

This is one of the nice things about Cali…air temp was probably in the low 60’s when that picture was taken and the water is 58°.

This show is put on by a cult, I wouldn't recommend supporting them.
Came across this article this morning about the origins of Shen Yen and Falun Gong…
Bringing attention to barbarity of the CCP of how it treats its political enemies doesn’t sound like a cult. Forced organ harvesting of its prisoners seems like a good reason to make the world aware of what is going there. Not to mention that apparently most have forgotten about Tienamen Square in 1981.

The basic tenants of Falun Gong is that we are all Devine creatures and they preach love and peace.. again doesn’t sound like a cult to me.

How Shen Yun Was Born to Expose Persecution in China, Revive Traditional Culture

Had you ever seen this musical and the different skits of classical stories of bravery, justice, integrity, character and the value of family you may be forced to reconsider your ignorant post.

In a diametrically opposing view to the quoted post above I encourage everyone to go and see this musical and make up your own mind during this years schedule of events from December through May.

Took a quick walk along Onondaga Lake this morning looking for eagles. Instead, I ran into this red-tailed hawk who was working hard not to get blown off the solar panels that power the lights along the walkway. Stiff wind and dark clouds, and a few minutes of sun breaking through to give me some great lighting. He stayed right there as I walked past, letting me get closer than I've ever been to one of these guys. He still has a little of his last meal on his beak and claws.

Frist time ever seeing Big Horn sheep in Zion National Park. I only lived 30 min away growing up so have spend ALOT of time there in my life. Was cool to see one in person only a few feet away. We were doing a family bike ride in the canyon last weekend.

Definitely a great place, many years ago a friend and I hiked the river from the north to the south and camped in the "narrows" ( up on the side of the cliff in a safe area ), it was a great trip,

for anyone happening to be there it's worth it to hike up from the south side to the narrows and then just turn around and hike out,

Spent 4hrs assembling this thing.......only for the 6yr old to tell me "Maybe you should get some lessons on how things go together so it'll go faster next time"......Sure kid, let me just toss out 15yrs of experience and 2 engineering degrees.

Fuckin' kids.

My kids said things at that age that we still laugh about 25 years later.

Went eagle hunting this afternoon, and stumbled across this guy. Maybe 30 feet away, and like a statue once he noticed me. He had one of his lady friends with him, so when I kept walking, he relaxed and went back to grazing.

Saw these two near their nest. Was getting pretty dark.

We’re still 5 days out and it’s north Texas so it could be 70degrees that day but….
