Got this put up to keep the boat out of the sun & weather.

My neighbor got one and closed it off in the back and went to the bottom on the sides. Very convenient.
Don't know why they went horizontal with the roof. Usually they are vertical
 
Less material, cheaper.
When i did my building,( which uses the same materials), the cost difference for my 30x60 building wasn't much at all between the 2 styles.

Wasn't an option from where I purchased. I kept the sides and back open for now to keep air moving. With the high humidity I didn’t want stagnant air and mildew/mold.
