The trailer for my SX190 squeaks like a cheap motel bed while I'm underway. It's something in the suspension, I hear the same noise when I jump up and down on the boat while parked. Leaf springs look ok-ish to my untrained eye, bolts feel secure.

Any suggestions on what else I should check? Attaching some pictures if folks don't mind taking a look...

Thanks!

@IvanRZB yes leaf springs can be squeaky for that and other reasons many prefer torsion units on their trailer. That said I have heard guys say they got relief from silicone spraying or WD-40 spraying of the spring leafs.

If everything is secure, it's probably just the leaf springs or bushings making the noise. I use a silicone film lubricant on the leaf springs, and a lithium or graphite spray on the bushings.

Thanks! I didn't mention that I did attempt to spray silicone lube onto them, kind of. I sent my 11-year-old under the trailer with the can and assumed he'd overspray the crap out of it like he does everything else :)

As a kid, this was my job, but with WD-40 in a spray bottle to unstick and unsqueak leaf springs. Used to do it every year. WD-40 was likely present in measurable amounts in the trees afterwards.
