The North Island used to be my best guess about 25 feet taller, but since the 2 bad floods we had, all the islands are shorter. We were on the west side treasure and hog, thats where we were getting eating up. we move to the north side of hog and it was 90% better.

We'll have to sit this one out unless we hitch a ride with someone, our boat is on Kiowa now, and if we take it off the lake there is a two week quarantine before we can put it back in the water.

doesn't seem like there is much excitement or activity on here for the meet. so I am expecting a low number of attendees.

Fellas,

I have very few days off this summer between a full time airline gig and a full time military pilot gig, but I actually have this Saturday off. However, two issues will keep me from attending. First, my girls have a swim meet all day Saturday & Sunday. Rare event that I can actually attend so that is keeping us away. Second, my youngest fell and broke her wrist pretty badly last night, so she is out for the swim meet and that will put a big block in the rest of our boating season. This is the same little lady that fell and broke her arm last 4th of July too. Two innocuous freak deals playing with her friends that resulted in a full arm cast (last year the right arm, this year the left). Fortunately it happened while I was on my last leg home from San Diego and I got to meet them at the ER as they arrived.

Anyway, there are my weak excuses for missing out. I hope y'all have a great time, get to enjoy Jeb's World Famous Jerky, and that he manages to somewhat behave himself! (Well, two out of three ain't bad)
