Texoma Gathering 2017 July 22nd and Aug 12

We have been rained out our first Two texoma trips.
 
We'll be there this weekend with the Yamaha for the first time this year. She needs an oil change that I'll do when we first get there and she'll be ready to run. Can't wait to do some spins! We'll be out on the cruiser on Saturday and in the Yamaha Friday and Sunday.

So whoever is out on Texoma this weekend just give me a shout so we can meet up and have a beer or whatever!
 
Got to be huge difference @PEARCE driving the cruiser and then the Yamaha.

That's no joke @DCB-270 ! The cruiser is almost in slow motion in comparison to the Yamaha. I'm looking forward to running at a swift rate of speed and not burning a bunch of gas in the process this weekend. We might even take the kids tubing.
 
Sounds like a good time we are not in for this weekend. No rooms. Should be there next weekend.
 
@DCB-270 Traci and i went to look at the water color at buncombe yesterday, It now looks like normal water in texoma, Traci and and i are going out this evening for dinner on the lake and a couple of drinks. Ok Ok OK maybe a lot of drinks,
@farrelltravis , I didnt know there was a competition and you were keeping score. Im sure you are better at a lot of things than I
@PEARCE If we make it out somtime this weekend we will look you up and take you up on the chill and a drink.

wow @farrelltravis and @PEARCE I was on my way yesterday. on my way to getting tore up. what a blast I had. Travis I like the new jetboaters hand book. I will refer to it to keep things on the up side.
 
Should we let admin know about the rule book, or just keep it to Texoma peeps? hahaha

@farrelltravis I think if @Admin wants to know what WE are doing on TEXOMA, than THEY need to come up, over, down. As far as I know, you and I are the only two who can interpret the (ON THE WATER) rules and regs, and make a ruling call. And I'm sure the rules and regs are going to be different from lake to lake and zone to zone!
 
Agree. Admin, may need to consider that Texoma is also bound by Texas and Oklahoma maritime rules as well in their decision.
 
What in the world are all you guys up to? I'm gonna have to get floats for the coach so I can come monitor your "on the water" behavior!
 
I am thinking I missed the Texoma gathering...:eek: I just came in Sunday night late, worked 6 days straight. Whats up this coming weekend?
 
We're debating whether or not we had an unofficial gathering on Saturday since there were 3 of us but only 2 jetboats on site at the time. We were in our cruiser at the time, but our Yamaha was sitting in the slip at the marina. I say it was official because I was there using my jetboaters.net koozie to hold my beer.:brb::rolleyes::winkingthumbsup"

@txav8r ok i will accept that, now, i will have to wait till i get back on the lake to use the (R & R handbook,)( R & R lol thats my drink) because the only publication that i know of is the one @farrelltravis showed me, is in the lake, if 3 members is the minimum needed to consider "IT" a gathering.
