Does anyone know what original impeller pitch is?
Anyone know if there are worn rings that fit from another jet. The most important thing is bolt pattern and diameter against impeller.
I can machine it if there is not too much work

Hi and welcome to the forum. I suspect few of us are familiar with your boat/pump, so it may just take a little time for someone to chime in. What pump does it have?Feel free to share a photo or two of the boat and impeller if you have it. For now, I will give it a bump.

Here's a picture of the boat and jet . I don't know which brand it is. It is not so common with this type of boat in this country.

That intake looks an awful lot like it’s from a suzuki wet bike.

Obviously the nozzle is different because wet bikes steered from the front ski

What year is your jetstar? It will either have a Susuki motor or a Merc/Force 3 Cylinder 90 HP. If it is the latter there is no wear ring. Also the pumps are predecessors to the merc Sport jet Pump. Your shaft is probably threaded which means finding a replacement impellor is hard. Bearings and seals are metric and can be found by size. If you have the susuki motor then the wetbike parts are similar till you get to the bowl

Hi thanks for the reply.
My boat is a 1991 mod with a 50 hp 2 cylinder Suzuki engine.
Unfortunately, this engine was broken. I have now converted to a 75 hp
3 cylinders, some welding and machining to get it too fit. Bearings are new inn the I water jet. The impeller is sent off for new calibration.
I imagine an extra impeller would be nice to have.
I'm working with machining, so if I find something that almost fit, I can make it work

Post some pictures. What engine did you end up using?impeller A.jpg

Also with the higher horse power they added this ride plate to improve bow rise and reduce porpoising.

How much HP do you have there ? It will be interesting to see how the HP matches your gear set up in the pump.

It's a 75hp engine.
Impeller has been for calibration to this engine.
I haven't tried it yet but hope to try within 2 weeks.

Have you had any luck finding a replacement wear ring? I have an 89 jetstar with the Suzuki 50HP, ring is shot and has no get-up anymore... hoping to find something to swap in without 100% machining. Thanks!

I have a 1988 jetstar 1250, I just had my wear ring rebuilt by American Jetboard, cost $150 + shipping,

If you have the three cylinder 90 hp there is a grease zert inside the steering nozzel. There is no lubrication to the impellor driveshaft at this end other than the grease. The front is lubricated with the pump oil. Not sure if you have the Suzuki set up.

yes I have the Suzuki I see the 2 drain/fill holes on passenger side of jet drive the parts book calls for a zert on the drivers side

You might try American Jetboard at (262) 203-3005 . They own the rights the the JetStar
