Should be fine. That's how I used my Magma, before mounting it directly on the table leg for this year.

You should be fine! Bring a trash bag to put it in just in case it gets greasy so you don't get your storage compartments nasty. I bought the storage bag for my Magma just for that reason.

Great grill! I bought one back when they were called Baby Q. You can put an old towel under it, just in case. Doesn't get very hot.

+1, I tied up next to my friend yesterday who has this grill on his 24. Fits perfect with bungee cord tied down to the rectangle shaped table. Stores nicely under rear starboard seat. Has standard Weber aluminum drip tray that catches everything for easy disposal. Adding this grill to my list of things to buy.
