@Sean R I know you meant tournaments, but torments is such a better word. Hilarious happy accident there.

I've lived in Louisville my entire adult life. I moved to southern IN ~5years ago. Literally just 15miles into Indiana from Kentucky. Every dang one of my neighbors and friends over here plays Euchre. Seriously NEVER heard of it before.

Wonder if the Ohio is the official dividing line of Euchre knowledge?
I have lived in Ohio my whole life and I started playing Euchre in middle school. Been playing ever since! My wife hates cards so we picked up domino's and have been trying to get others to learn/want to play that instead!
 
We call them KY Mules down here. Swap the Vodka for some good Bourbon. Love me some Mules, but the ginger beer gets to me after awhile.
Use raspberry liqueur to make a bramble mule.

Learned Euchre from some neighbors that moved from Wisconsin. Its a fun game.
