An Apple a day...

I was not impressed with the 6 launch. I am currently on my first iPhone, a 5, which I bought after breaking two Motorolla android phones after roughly a year of usage each. I actually like the smaller size of the iPhone. I would have preferred an upgraded iPhone at a similar size to the 5 with new processor and better battery life. Having to recharge during the middle of the day is my biggest gripe about the iPhone.
If you have a battery usage issue it is 1 of 3 things, either you have poor management in your phone, (lots of stuff running in the back ground all the time, it is user selectable and just something you have to tweak to your preferences), a bad battery or you have very weak cell service. I had that issue as well and one phone had a bad battery and it was repaired at an Apple store and the other times I had too many apps running all the time as well as I live were service is limited. If I go where I know we won't have service, I will turn the cell receiver off (airplane mode) to save life, this is something that will affect all cell phones as they will constantly be transmitting looking for a better source and simply turn it on when you know you are in a good area. As it stands, I get about a 10 hour day with talk etc. about 30 hours on stand by on average with my iPhone 5. Supposedly the 6 has better management on its own as well as a better battery.. will have to wait and see.

Could be that your display is up too high as well

LOL. And with a Galaxy S4 or S5, if you need "more battery" in the midst of the day or an event, you simply change out a $ 4 battery in a few seconds.
But you Apple guys ..... Keep hangin' on to old(er) Technology. it's OK with us.

I did a little research on the upload issue and it looks like an iOS issue. Sorry...

Ended up with the 128gb 4.7. Have to say this thing is pretty slick. I know I'm excited about some things you droid people have had for a few years but... Apple did a solid job on the build quality of this phone.

Update 8.0.1 is out and fixes the upload issue but some are reporting no cell service and touch id issues after loading the update.

Most updates require using the passcode to reactivate the touch id. Not sure what's wrong with the cell service.

Steve Jobs is rolling right now. What a shame.

Someone is really pushing to get stuff out and is letting testing and quality suffer. I will agree that they make a good product, even if it is less advanced. This batch of products ave seemed to have a decent amount of issues and even the patches are getting pulled. This keeps up and apple will fail and the free world of android will prevail

It is surprising to see the type and quantity of issues they are having....their typical mantra has been that we may be slower to the market with something, but when you get it, it just works.....

That is their MO but apparently it died with Jobs... SMH in disappointment.

Last time I looked at android they didn't offer all of the security and DVR apps that I need for work. Maybe I'll take another look......

I'll stick with my IPhone. Every time I use a droid at work it just makes me mad.
But i don't get all into the which one is better. Different strokes.
