WOW ! @octavio3311 . That's an amazing shot. If ya wanna warm up, however, I do extend a "Welcome Greeting" and invite you to come South and stay with us. NOT said as a joke, either ! Take care, and enjoy the shoveling, Mikey Lulejian - Lake Oconee, GA

...and the dam thing still runs/drives fine. In here just for a valve cover.
What do you do in that situation....change the gasket and send it out. I'm sure the customer isn't going to pay for that engine to be cleaned out. What did they say when you pointed it out?

The valve cover on these has an integrated PCV that was blown causing lean faults. Replaced that and I think they are gonna come back to clean her up some next week. BG makes an incredible dynamic engine cleaner. Basically just run the engine with 5 qt's of it for 1/2 hour (after cleaning the oil pump pickup), change the oil and run that for 1/2 hour to flush out the cleaner, and then change it again. Uses an external filter apparatus. It surprisingly works VERY well. We had a big issue with engine sludge about 10 years ago and that's when BG designed this kit for us. Customer actually wasn't even surprised, but they haven't owned it very long.

Wow. That is such a mess. I'd be afraid to send all that crap back through the system. I guess engines these days can take some serious abuse.

Making progress today!

This was early this morning when I got off work at 6am. I know you guys up north will laugh, but here in Texas this is a big deal. I don't have any problem with it, but there are a lot people here that totally freak out over this stuff. They are the biggest worry when driving, not the weather or road conditions.

I had already cleared some of the windows and hood before thinking to taking a picture. It was 21 degrees.

Humps in the bed is 500lbs of sand.

Driving over the Lake Lewisville bridge. This is usually the worst part in conditions like this. Bridge is fairly long. Luckily not much traffic so plenty of snow for traction and not a solid sheet of ice.

New truck safe in the driveway. View of sun coming up looking out back of the house.

And you said that's little league?
No kidding! @Speedling , people in your state spend a lot more money on little league than we do here in ncal. You could have told me that was for a college and I would have believed it.

Yup!
I will double check and see if there is some sort of importance as to why they went overboard with it today. We were actually hoping to get the wrigley stadium remake/redo/upkeep project but it's a bit of a mess
