@drewkaree Went to leave the house this morning and found a 2ft deep snow drift in front of the garage. Fancy new shovel thing to the rescue.

You can see I did a little bit with the hand shovel. I was wearing a suit and tie, so I didn't do much. Slipped the cover alls on and got the contraption out.

This was about 10min worth of work. Rivian went over the drift with no issues, just wanted to make sure the wife's Rogue didn't get hung up if she wanted to go out somewhere.

Machine had plenty of power, but it was a little heavy to lift and then "set down" to get through the stuff that was deeper than the machine inlet is tall. Had to take "2 passes" to get most of it.

I'm getting ready to go out and teach the 13yr old boy how to use it. He's a little dude (40% percentile his whole life), so it'll be interesting to see how he handles it. He's also a stranger to hard work, so it's likely to be a struggle on that front too. More details as they come up.

Hurricane Dockside Grill in Tavares Fl. You can dock there, exceptional chicken wings 😉, and I would know, I’m a professional 🤣
I will have to check it out, not too far away from us....maps says 15 minutes car ride and 12 minutes by boat
You will see pictures once I get settled in

WAIT?!?!?!, is that two garages and driveways you have to clear out in Buffalo?

That's the other unit of the "townhouse" (Duplex??) we rent. We share a wall with that family. Seems to be really common up here, guessing it helps with heating bills since I don't have to heat that wall nearly as much to keep it warm.

Here's a street view for clarity. We rent the left side of the red line.

Whole damn neighborhood is like this.

Also......Anyone know why this area is so averse to brick? Finding a brick house up here is absurdly difficult. EVERYTHING is siding. Do they not make bricks in New York? What gives?

Savings of money....lining the pockets of the builders is more important.

Oh thank goodness, my back starting hurting for you when I saw that second garage door. In my head I was thinking, well the vehicle in there is staying until the thaw ....

Well, that wraps up all the big changes I want to do to the car. Now I need to find a way to get a AR195 here so I'm not boatless :winkingthumbsup" I've been thinking a lot about how to make some income here on top of my income in USA. And I have some ideas..

One of our managers based in Orlando just picked up a Dark Horse and I thought of you. Nice car in a picture, but stunning car in person. I bet yours is the same.

well, with that car and your current location im sure you can come up with some ideas...lol
A few. My company has troubles finding good electrical design engineers and I really need help with all these large high rise projects. I've been doing them all alone because people have no desire to learn. My girlfriend's brother is an electrician, not great with computers, but he has all the motivation. He's been working at my side. So the idea is to teach him to arrive at my level, then I can take classes in plumbing and mechanical to become a manager. That would be a good boost in pay.

The other idea is to become an influencer here with the mustang. A foreigner doing track days and stuff, mods on the mustang, etc. That should be popular. I'm not the type to be an influencer, but I have an old friend that left to California in 2011 and now is an influencer with a Porsche GT3RS, Ferrari, and a few other toys. He does car stuff, maybe you know him, vin_tra in instagram.

It would be cool if ya'll followed me, the page is mustang.col but I'm going to change it soon. Maybe melo.de.gringo

Did my third oil change of the season today… had 85 hours on this oil, prepping to go to Lake Mohave again in the spring, I expect to put on roughly 40 hours when I’m there. It was a nice 63*day today so I took advantage of it.

The oil came out pretty darn clean again.. loving the amsoil and amsoil filters.

As a fyi, I made an effort to make sure I got as much oil out as I could, a little over 7L came out per the mighty vac evacuator. I put in 3.25 quarts to start and worked up to 3.5 quarts of oil (3.59 is the capacity that the service manual states) into each engine (with new oil filters of course), that put the oil level at exactly the half way mark on the dipstick.

Next will be new plugs and check the grease cones at the rear of the jet pumps.

I like your wood support bench. Pretty slick!

One of my favorite stretches of week was when I’d start driving to the job site and once the thermostat opened in the truck the coolant temp dropped… company truck was a trooper.
