They are metal straps.. must be per building code for some reason? What is at the upper corners of the garage doors? It appears to be metal strapping.
That will look incredible when it’s done.. love the colored lights at night.. we also have a backyard design...Looking at this for our backyard...View attachment 110448View attachment 110449
Love the shape of your pool... looks very functional.. keep the pics coming .. foundation poured for the house? They are starting as soon as we close!
Wow.. that’s coming along fast.. what a great design
Just in time for summer... keep your pics coming.. so excitingYours looks great! Wish we could have the rv garage. We have a close of probably mid April I'm guessing. They will give us a firm date when cabinets go in.
Well, the wife and I have had enough of 6+ months cold/rain and looking at relocating next summer.. I would prefer somewhere i can have a pool and actually use it Year around.. not a fan of humidity, hurricane warnings or big flying bugs.. I’m thinking southwest somewhere (absolutely not Cali).. I was raised in San Diego as a kid.. I am even thinking of selling the boat but haven’t quite made up my mind on that one..
Any recommendations would be welcome.. cost of living is a big factor as we are not rich by any means ( we are both RN’s).. We got plenty of time to decide.. housing market is crazy here so should do well when we sell..
The house is coming along amazingly.. I love the brick and the high roof lines.. I think you are gonna be in your new way before us...The race is on @malibu Dan . Our drywall started yesterday and the brick and stone is in process. We were down for the framing walk through a couple of weeks ago!

So I have to ask for advise..we have our walk through inspection Tomorrow morning before drywall starts.. how picky are you during this part. I have already seen where framing doesn’t quite line up, a hammer is used to create holes in the wall for access.. will this be covered up with drywall and it’s normal or am I being to anal about the little stuff?.. what did you guys focus on during your walk through?..The race is on @malibu Dan . Our drywall started yesterday and the brick and stone is in process. We were down for the framing walk through a couple of weeks ago!
